Thank you for being here! It means the world to me! My name is Faith. I’m a nurse by profession, a wife, a mother to a 14 year old cellist and math enthusiast young boy, and an artist. I’ve always been an artist at heart! I discovered surface pattern design out of curiosity of how fabrics are designed in a repeating pattern. Did my research, enrolled in classes, started sketching again, started learning how to use Affinity Designer and social media and marketing. Wow! That’s a lot! And while still working part time as a nurse! The time joggling is real. But, I always say to myself, “In God’s perfect timing!”. One day at a time. So much about me.

My designs are vintage inspired with mostly muted, pastels and calming earth tone colors. My inspiration comes from all the abundance nature has to offer that I soak in during my hikes in this ever beautiful and sunny California! I love the beauty of California! My thrifting habit, visiting thrift stores and garage sales and seeing old pieces of furnitures, clothing and other old paraphernalia, also contribute to my senses’ vault. There’s nostalgia in seeing old antique pieces! On colors, I think an artist’s choice of colors reflects who they are. Every year trends change, including colors. And I could never keep up with the bright bold trending colors as I always gravitate towards muted earth tones. In the end, I stuck with it. I think the best I could offer is to be true to myself and that will be reflected in the art that I create. All of my designs are created from my own “humanly” abilities, and, that being said, is, without use of AI.
